Breaking the Cycle

           Taking care of the environment starts with getting everyone in the community involved. We can do this by educating people about simple ways to help, like recycling, saving water, and using less energy. By learning about the effects of pollution and waste, people are more likely to make better choices that help the planet.                         Another way to engage the community is by organizing group activities, like cleaning up parks or beaches. These events bring people together to make a positive difference, while also encouraging them to take care of their surroundings.                This quarter, I learned many important things in different subjects. In Science, I gained a better understanding of natural disasters, like how volcanoes and earthquakes occur, and the role of magma beneath the Earth’s surface. I also learned about the history of the internet, which helped me appreciate how technology has developed over time. In disaster preparedness, I now know what to do before, during, and after disasters to stay safe, which is very useful knowledge.                One challenge I faced was understanding certain lessons, like solving mathematical sequences and keeping up with grammar rules in English. It was also difficult to express emotions in painting when we studied Expressionism. Additionally, analyzing the themes and lessons in different stories we read in class was sometimes confusing.                 To overcome these challenges, I practiced more on solving sequences and reviewed grammar exercises.
