Memories

This quarter, I learned many important things in different subjects. In Science, I gained a better understanding of natural disasters, like how volcanoes and earthquakes occur, and the role of magma beneath the Earth’s surface. I also learned about the history of the internet, which helped me appreciate how technology has developed over time. In disaster preparedness, I now know what to do before, during, and after disasters to stay safe, which is very useful knowledge.

One challenge I faced was understanding certain lessons, like solving mathematical sequences and keeping up with grammar rules in English. It was also difficult to express emotions in painting when we studied Expressionism. Additionally, analyzing the themes and lessons in different stories we read in class was sometimes confusing.

To overcome these challenges, I practiced more on solving sequences and reviewed grammar exercises. I also asked my teachers and classmates for help when I didn’t understand something. For painting, I tried to express my feelings by experimenting with colors and brush strokes. These steps helped me improve and better understand the lessons.

Moving on, I will continue practicing my problem areas, especially in math and grammar. I’ll also keep exploring creative ways to express myself in art and improve my understanding of stories and their deeper meanings. I am committed to staying prepared for natural disasters and making sure I know how to keep myself and others safe.
