The Second Chapter

In the second quarter, I was introduced to HTML coding, which is the language used for development of websites. To create a webpage, I learn how to use the HTML contructs  <html>, <head>, <body> among others. I also underrstood how to place images, links and text which increased my understanding of the creation and presentation of websites.

One problem I encountered was trying to figure out how some tags correlate to each other when the webpage was not how I imagined it to be. I have to say it was annoying at times, but I accepted that it was just an easier way of putting all of it on the wall and connecting the dots that will go there.

In order to do this, I went through my notes, watched video tutorials, and ask assistance from my teacher and classmates.  As I practiced, I grew more assured in error corrections and in the step by step construction of pages.

Moving forward, I am going to do a lot more practice and try out more advanced elements of html such as farms and tables. Creating even more interactive and creative websites is what I need to enhance my skills so that I can engage in actual creation of  interactive websites.
