Breaking the Cycle

Taking care of the environment starts with getting everyone in the community involved. We can do this by educating people about simple ways to help, like recycling, saving water, and using less energy. By learning about the effects of pollution and waste, people are more likely to make better choices that help the planet.                         Another way to engage the community is by organizing group activities, like cleaning up parks or beaches. These events bring people together to make a positive difference, while also encouraging them to take care of their surroundings. It also helps start conversations about how to keep the community clean and green.              Lastly, we can support eco-friendly practices and work with local leaders to create policies that protect the environment. Starting a community garden or sharing tips on social media are easy ways to promote sustainability. By working together, we can create a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone to e

This quarter, I learned many important things in different subjects. In Science, I gained a better understanding of natural disasters, like how volcanoes and earthquakes occur, and the role of magma beneath the Earth’s surface. I also learned about the history of the internet, which helped me appreciate how technology has developed over time. In disaster preparedness, I now know what to do before, during, and after disasters to stay safe, which is very useful knowledge.                One challenge I faced was understanding certain lessons, like solving mathematical sequences and keeping up with grammar rules in English. It was also difficult to express emotions in painting when we studied Expressionism. Additionally, analyzing the themes and lessons in different stories we read in class was sometimes confusing.                 To overcome these challenges, I practiced more on solving sequences and reviewed grammar exercises. I also asked my teachers and classmates for h

Their hard work, patience, and dedication leave a lasting impact on students, guiding them to become responsible, capable, and compassionate individuals.             This National Teachers Month, we celebrate the vital role teachers play in shaping the future. They knot only provide knowledge but also inspire us to dream big, think critically, and treat others with kindness, even when faced with challenges.             Let’s take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude for their efforts. Strengthening the Philippines for a Safer Future

Image
The Philippines is prone to natural disasters like typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions because of its location. These disasters, combined with poverty and weak infrastructure, make it hard for many communities to recover quickly. The impact can be devastating, causing loss of lives, homes, and jobs. The government also faces challenges in responding effectively to these disasters. Understanding these problems is key to building a stronger, more resilient country that can better protect its people.               To help communities prepare and respond to disasters, the government and organizations have set up programs. These include early warning systems, training in disaster preparedness, and building stronger, safer infrastructure. For example, flood control projects and earthquake-resistant buildings are being developed to reduce damage. There are also social programs to support those most affected. Providing training for officials, ensuring transparency, and prom

First of all, let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Jayzen Aldridge Eugenio. I live in Paratong, Santa Catalina, Ilocos Sur, but I originally come from Cavite. I'm 15 years old and currently a Grade 10 SSC student at Ilocos Sur National High School. I'm a pretty shy person, but I love being active, especially in sports. Even though I'm quiet and don’t talk much, I really enjoy staying fit and playing games. It can be hard for me to express my feelings, so people might not always know what’s on my mind.             Because I'm quiet, it can be difficult for others to understand me, but I think being shy has its positives. It’s helped me become a good listener and a caring friend. Even though I’m not outgoing, I see myself in a positive way. Playing sports has taught me discipline and perseverance, and it's helped me gain confidence. Being quiet also lets me understand people better, making me more empathetic. I’m p
