Cultural Heritage


                The Kannawidan Festival is a special event that highlights the rich culture and traditions of the Ilocano people. Celebrate yearly in Ilocos Sur, this festival showcases traditional dances, songs, food, and local products. People from different places come together to witness and experience the beauty of Ilocano heritage. 



                This festival is important because it helps preserve and promote Ilocano traditions. It reminds us of our ancestors' way of life and the values they passed down through generations. Through cultural performances, trade fairs, and exhibits, the festival brings pride to the Ilocano community and encourages younger generations to appreciate their roots.



                The Kannawidan Festival is not just about entertainment, it is a celebration of identity and unity.            Taking care of the environment starts with getting everyone in the community involved. We can do this by educating people about simple ways to help, like recycling, saving water, and using less energy. The Second Chapter

         In the second quarter, I was introduced to HTML coding, which is the language used for development of websites. To create a webpage, I learn how to use the HTML contructs  <html>, <head>, <body> among others. I also underrstood how to place images, links and text which increased my understanding of the creation and presentation of websites.           One problem I encountered was trying to figure out how some tags correlate to each other when the webpage was not how I imagined it to be.
