A Day of Culture and Unity

                  The 123rd High School Day Celebration at Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) was a fun and exciting event. One of the best parts was the cultural dance performances, where students danced to traditional music from different countries. It was amazing to see everyone perform with energy and confidence. The colorful costumes, lively music, and well-practiced steps made the performances even more special. It was a great way to learn about and appreciate different cultures while enjoying the moment with classmates and teachers.



          This yearly celebration is important because it reminds us of the history and achievements of ISNHS. For 123 years, our school has been a place of learning, growth, and success. The event helps students and teachers come together, celebrate school spirit, and honor the hard work of those who built ISNHS into what it is today. It also strengthens the bond between students, teachers, and alumni, making us feel proud to be part of this school.



               More than just a celebration, High School Day teaches us the value of culture, teamwork, and unity. It is a chance to appreciate traditions from different parts of the world while also showing love for our own culture. The event was not only about looking back at the past but also about moving forward with pride and excitement for the future. I am happy to be part of ISNHS, and I look forward to celebrating more High School Days in the coming years!

Breaking the Cycle

           Taking care of the environment starts with getting everyone in the community involved. We can do this by educating people about simple ways to help, like recycling, saving water, and using less energy. By learning about the effects of pollution and waste, people are more likely to make better choices that help the planet.                         Another way to engage the community is by organizing group activities, like cleaning up parks or beaches. The Second Chapter

         In the second quarter, I was introduced to HTML coding, which is the language used for development of websites. To create a webpage, I learn how to use the HTML contructs  <html>, <head>, <body> among others. I also underrstood how to place images, links and text which increased my understanding of the creation and presentation of websites.           One problem I encountered was trying to figure out how some tags correlate to each other when the webpage was not how I imagined it to be.
